Thinking About a New Puppy or Already Have One?

Before You Get that New Puppy, Check With Us

Depending on the Breed, You May Need a Special Liability Policy

Everyone loves puppies. It’s impossible not to smile when you see a playful puppy rolling around. Many homeowners may not know that the puppy they just brought home could raise their insurance rates, and sometimes even cause them to get cancelled.

At Galezano Insurance, we are here to help. We know that many of our clients already own or are considering adopting a breed that is commonly flagged as a liability risk by some insurance carriers.

If you’re a new client, we will ask you a few questions to find out the breed of dog you’re looking to adopt. Galezano Insurance has a list of breeds that Florida carriers are often concerned about. At that point, we can help you find the best liability policy for you.

For established clients—-what happens if you have one of the breeds that a carrier has deemed a risk? Ineligible dog breeds will require placement with a different carrier. Then, a separate liability policy may be needed for the animal liability. It’s also important to be aware that if there is an incident on your property, the coverage you have could be cancelled. Please let us know what breed you own, so we find out how to keep your rates low and keep you insured.

At Galezano Insurance, we are dog lovers too, and we’re here to help you.

Call or email us today, and we will answer all of your questions and get you into the best policy so you can focus on your new four-legged family member.
